External Banks fans finally have some more info on season 3. Netflix recently announced three new characters that will appear in new episodes of the teen adventure drama. We have details on the actors playing these roles, as well as what fans have to say about Rafe Cameron’s (Drew Starkey) potential arc of redemption. The third season of “Outer Banks” doesn’t have a release date yet

The cast is rumored to wrap filming for season 3 in August 2022. Some of the Netflix series’ directors have posted posts about the filming on social media, so it’s still ongoing.

Netflix has not yet announced a release date for the third season. However, based on the show’s previous release schedule, we estimate that new episodes may be out as soon as December 2022, especially if they wrap up in August. Stay tuned for more concrete details, though.

“Outer Banks” will introduce three new characters in the third season

Meanwhile, Netflix has rolled out a new bread crumb for fans to analyze. We will meet three new characters in the third season of External Banks: Carlos Singh, Ryan and Sofia.

Netflix says: “Andy McQueen [Jack Ryan, The Handmaid’s Tale] it’s Carlos Singh, a ruthless Caribbean Don on a treasure hunt of his own. Lou Ferrigno Jr. [Stargirl, 9-1-1] is Ryan, Singh’s highest security officer. Fiona Palomo [Control Z, Gossip Girl: Acapulco] as Sofia, a self-identified pogue who forms a close bond with Rafe.

Rafe Cameron could get an arc of redemption in season three and fans don’t want it

While many fans were thrilled to learn the slightest thing about the new season, many got caught up in the plans for Rafe Cameron. “Congratulations to them, even though I don’t think we need a Rafe redemption arc and a love story,” a Reddit user said.

“Yup!” another Reddir agreed. “I understand that Drew is hot, but Rafe is a psycho who shouldn’t be romanticized. Also, the people who ship it with Kie is the weirdest thing. “

“We don’t want a Rafe arc of redemption!” a fan replied to the tweet announcing the new cast members. “Dude needs therapy, not a girl thrown at him by writers,” it reads another tweet.

Officer External Banks Twitter account tweeted: “Sofia if you’re listening… watch out for Rafe, honey,” fueling the idea that the character would get too close to be comforted by the evil brother Cameron. Stokes he answered: “Stop abortion”.

According to Palomo’s IMDb page, she is only credited for the first episode of External Banks Season 3. It may change, but fans may not see much of the new character. They’ll have to wait until new episodes come out on Netflix to find out for sure.

Young John B. was chosen for the third season of “Outer Banks”

Coastal Talent, a South Carolina agency, shared a photo on Facebook of the showrunner actors chosen to play Young John B. in season three. “Congratulations to NICO for booking the role of ‘Young John B.’ on Netfix External Banks”, Reads the caption.

Let’s assume this means we’ll have flashbacks from John B.’s childhood in the new season. Perhaps we will get more information on who is his mother or we will also see adorable versions of other Pogues.
