Some time later, in June 2021, The old woman died inside that same house, but it was certified as a natural death. José insisted that an autopsy be performed and, finally, the Justice approved it. It was then that it was discovered that the death of the woman had been provoked, by detecting the presence of two metals in excessive doses. That is, she had been poisoned, specifically with cadmium and manganese. Another detail to take into account is that every time Isabel spent a few days with Arancha and Luis, his bank account marked that he had spent around 30,000 euros and, before he died, he changed his will and dictated that some of his properties, Like a flat in Asturias and some land, they would be for Arancha. This is why they indicate that everything could have been carried out to keep the inheritance.

For the moment, The Public Prosecutor’s Office has only requested provisional release for Luis Lorenzo and his wife. That is, the withdrawal of the passport, prohibition to leave the national territory and weekly appearances in court. In other words, they have been released with charges and with all the precautionary measures requested by the Prosecutor’s Office, while they continue to be investigated for the murder.
