Comedy in Mexico has had great exponents who, over the years, managed to win the affection of the public thanks to their presentations on television programs or different cultural products, just as it has done José Alberto Flores Jandete, better known as “pacifier”.

Although the concept of his character evokes the traditional clown that has been interpreted and represented in different parts of the world, the fresh personality and particular voice of “Chuponcito” managed to captivate the attention of Mexicans during the first years of the 2000s, which led to his artistic career taking off little by little.

Nevertheless, the story of this character began in the streets of Ciudad Nezahualcóyotl, State of Mexicomunicipality where Alberto Flores Jandete is from, who was born on April 8, 1969.

Practicing Christianity, the beginnings of the popular clown were marked by shortcomings as comes from a humble home but hard-working people. In various interviews published on his social networks, “Chuponcito” even reported that the first time he characterized himself was at the age of seven, just one year after his mother abandoned him.

In the year 2020, Barbara Estrada -ex-partner of José Alberto Flores- filed a lawsuit against the comedian for the crimes of sexual abuse and extortion, this as a result of the alleged perpetrator forcing her to send him nude photographs and then threatening to make the images public once their relationship ended.

He also mentioned that the comedian forced her to have sex despite the fact that, according to his statements, he has the human papillomavirus, a sexually transmitted disease.
