Deadpool 3 will hit theaters on November 8, 2024. However, filming has already begun and director Shawn Levy has revealed the first details.
There are funny characters, others rude, some crazy, but also powerful. However, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe there is one that meets all these characteristics and even many more. Is about deadpool, the irreverent mutant. This one, without being pigeonholed in the label of hero or antihero, has managed to go to the top of the box office and to the depths of the hearts of fans. In fact, it’s been so well received that Disney decided to make the push to get its rights from Fox by making it the studio’s big buy.

In this way, ‘The House of the Mouse’ ensured the possibility of continuing to use it. In addition, he achieved one of the most anticipated movements by fans. That is, it was possible to introduce the character to the UCM as such, with this he is now free for any production.
Thus, an evolution has accompanied him during the last six years since the first film was released. In the sequel, the Merc with a Mouth confronted Cable and began to interact with other superheroes, which showed a more team side on his part. A makeshift X-Force, Domino and Colossus have been some of his allies so far.
Now, there will be a third installment and an old acquaintance will accompany him. Wolverinethe great founding member of the X-Men and perhaps the most famous mutant in comics, returns to the cinema at the hands of the psychopath played by Ryan Reynolds.
What has attracted the most attention is that it will once again be Hugh Jackman who gives life to Logan. The actor has been in the role since 2000.
With all the elements in its favor, Deadpool 3 has great expectations for all fans. Shawn Levidirector of the feature film, confessed some relevant details about the start of filming.
“We’re writing, rewriting, developing, preparing ‘Deadpool’ every day now. It’s wonderful to laugh every day. It’s so delicious to listen and write and think about these scenes where people just talk bad. And the violence is in your face and it’s hardcore. It’s very much what it means to be a ‘Deadpool’ movie. And it has Logan in it. It has Wolverine in it, who will be a lot of fun. I’m having a lot of fun, and I haven’t made it to the shooting floor yet. […] I have to say that developing a ‘Deadpool’ movie is one of the most fun creative experiences of my life because it’s not just that it’s rated R. It’s that it’s so full of self-awareness, and that makes writing in a way that’s unique for that franchise”, indicated the filmmaker in an interview with Collider.
It should be noted that, as well as the viewers, one of the things that most excites Levy about the next production of ‘La casa de las ideas’ is that it is R-rated. This is one of the fundamental aspects for him and it has always meant a lot in his career.
“One of the few regrets in my career is that I forced myself to reduce The Internship from an R to a PG-13. I still regret it because the R-rated version of Vince [Vaughn] and owen [Wilson] in ‘The Internship‘ was much better. And the me of today would not have succumbed like the me of 20, whatever, 12 years ago,” she added.
Finally, the developer’s challenge will be to maintain the essence of the character despite his arrival in the vast MCU with its different shades and tones.
“The truth is, the more digitally CGI-generated a film is, the more time you’ll need in publication. But obviously because it is the first Deadpool movie in the UCM, there will be no shortage of visual effects. Plus, it’s also a North Star priority for Ryan and I to keep Deadpool raw, gritty, grounded in the way those movies have been and that we all love,” he concluded.
With everything on the table, Deadpool 3 will be released on November 8, 2023.
