The Nigerian peddler Alika Ogorchukwu, 39, was beaten to death by the worker Filippo Ferlazzo, 32, in Civitanova Marche, in the province of Macerata. The 32-year-old was promptly tracked down and arrested for voluntary homicide and robbery by the police. After the arrest, the original worker from Salerno was transferred to the Montacuto prisonin Ancona, where he met his lawyer, Roberta Bizzarri.
Ferlazzo, during an interview that lasted about two and a half hours, revealed to his lawyer that he was “civil invalid 100% “and to have” psychiatric problems “. The murderer also explained: “My mother Ursula has all the documents of the Salerno Court, if she has them sent. They judged me bipolar and borderline“.
At present, it is unclear whether the man’s words represent only one defensive strategy: the fact is that Bizzarri has already asked for one psychiatric report for his client.
According to an initial reconstruction, some health sources would have described Filippo Ferlazzo as a “social psychopath” and they referred to some tests carried out in recent years in Salerno, confirming the words of the killer.

Filippo Ferlazzo was born in Austria but grew up to Salerno. After the separation of his parents, the doctors and psychologists who treated him had diagnosed him problems with aggression who had pushed the Court of Salerno to entrust the man to his mother Ursula, who held the role of support administrator. For some time, however, the 32-year-old had lived in the Marche and worked at Steve Stampi foundry in Civitanova Alta as a fixed-term contract worker. Ferlazzo, therefore, was in about 400 kilometers away from the mother who, consequently, had no possibility to control or monitor it.
With respect to the murder, the killer’s lawyer said: “It would have been one jerk received by his partner, Elena, by the killed Nigerian. Ferlazzo was accused not only of voluntary murder but also of theft. The charge of theft, on the other hand, concerns thethe 32-year-old stole the victim’s cell phone who, after the struggle, collected all the objects found on the ground – including Alika’s phone – and then fled. The object was then returned to the police at the time of arrest.
