In view of the recently revealed murders in which Francisco Javier García Quezada and Juan Feliz Ubriz, Alias Caputo, confessed to the way in which they murdered their victims and hid their bodies, in facts… Mental health professionals agree Yeilin’s killers and Cuevas have traits of psychopaths.
In view of the recently revealed murders in which Francisco Javier García Quezada and Juan Feliz Ubriz, Alias Caputo, confessed to the way in which they murdered their victims and hid their bodies, in separate events, behavioral specialists agree that both have traits of a psychopath.
The former president of the Dominican College of Psychologists (Codopsi), Jairo Mercedes, understands that Ubriz, murderer of the minor Snaidelin Dadu, alias Yeilin, in Elías Piña, shows traits inclined to psychopathy.
“It is necessary to carry out a series of tests to determine an exact diagnosis regarding his personality. However, our experience in the professional field tells us that its characteristics are very similar to those exhibited by a psychopath,” says Mercedes, who is also a prison psychologist.
He points out that one of the indicators of people with this pathology is the coldness of the events they commit, their level of planning and lack of emotions to react to shocking events.
Despite not having any other background that allows him to approach the profile of Francisco Javier, the confessed murderer of Julio Cuevas, he expresses that the coldness with which he carried out the crime and his actions after the fact are striking, since they are also associated with those of someone with the aforementioned condition.
For the Clinical Psychologist and Specialist in Forensic Psychology, Isaidy Cordero, the characteristics of Feliz Ubriz are inclined to those of a psychopath, due to his lack of empathy and remorse.
“The way he did it, the hiding of his body. Preying on the trust of the victim’s relatives and their ability to reoffend are part of the behavior of a dedicated psychopath,” he noted.
He maintains that another element that brought Caputo closer to this profile was his ability to plan a homicide even knowing the possible consequences.
“Psychopaths study their victims very well, they are meticulous, they coldly plan their next attacks, and many times they use rewards to attract those they want to attack,” said the specialist, mentioning that the murderer in this case seduced the victim. minor offering her an iPhone on the condition that she go to his house to get it.
The way in which the body of Jesús Cuevas was found reveals the lack of empathy, remorse and the coldness with which his executioner, García Quezada, acted, says Cordero.
“Having two weeks with someone’s dismembered body, in your own home, eating in that place and being there with your son and acting like nothing is happening, knowing that there are friends and family looking for him, is something that can only do someone with psychopathic traits,” he said.
He adds that he was struck by the way he chose to kill and dispose of his victim’s body, with actions similar to that of the protagonist of the Dahmer miniseries, in which his protagonist murdered his victims and dismembered them.
