“New year, new life” is often said, but it is up to each one of us to make the best of their condition and circumstance, including fulfilling the promises we make to ourselves, correcting inappropriate habits, which from neglecting our own health to not paying due attention to our children, family, the community of which we are members.
The horrible year that ended a few hours ago left deep wounds, mainly due to the aggression mounted by the murderous psychopath against Ukraine, which has cost thousands of lives, disabled combatants, the exodus of 15 million Ukrainians and the destruction of much infrastructure, the work of of dementia.
Several countries, and in particular the United Kingdom, have fallen into a serious economic crisis caused by Brexit, which is leaving many British adults facing the dilemma of starving or freezing to death, a specter that threatens many nations around the world.
