The animal organization Munay Without Borders denounced, via Twitter, that a subject, accompanied by his accomplice, aboard a linear motorcycle, inserted a screwdriver into the ears of two community dogs (Black and White) with the purpose of robbing a house in the Monte Azul urbanization, in San Martin de Porres. The attack happened last Sunday, September 18, at 8:20 p.m. According to a citizen of the area, the malefactors would be foreigners and the aggression is part of a new modality to rob homes.
“Let’s help spread the videos to find the whereabouts of these psychopaths,” urged the group. “Citizens, authorities, be alert (and) catch this psychopath who has a way of stealing: put a screwdriver in the ears of stray animals,” he warned.

For his part, Carlo Ángeles, Metropolitan Councilor of the Municipality of Lima and also an animal activist, demanded the maximum sanction in this case and requested citizen support for the collection of more evidence, within the framework of the Law 30407, Animal Welfare and Protection Law.
