An inspiring woman of the last century, the photographer revolutionized the discipline with her shots that paint a disturbing portrait of America in the 1960s. She captures the strange in New York street corners and creates images where the ordinary rubs shoulders with the marginal. Until January 29, the Museum of Fine Arts exhibits the extraordinary characters made memorable by Diane Arbus.

“Air Play is the story of a brother and sister who venture into a surreal land where umbrellas fly, fabrics twirl, balloons swallow people and snow swirls. In this creation which rubs shoulders with the circus as much as theater and sculpture, the artists transform everyday objects into extraordinary beauty. Fruit of many years of experimentation, the show is the result of an encounter between Seth Bloom, Christina Gelsone (Acrobuffos company) and the kinetic sculptor Daniel Wurtzel. »
