The Boys: Vought promotes Homelander’s diapers on “National Parents’ Day”

The Boys celebrates National Day of parents with the sale and the promotion of diapers inspired by Homelander, the Patriot of the Nation.

An advertisement for Homelander diapers has been posted on the Twitter account of Vought International, the superhero company of the Prime Video series, which simultaneously acts as an attack on Starlight (Erin Moriarty). An image of the American-made baby product shows its flamboyant white design, while the caption reads: “What do Starlight and its diapers have in common? They’re both full of shit! “.

The promotion promises that parents who return Starlight nappies to stores will get a full refund, provided they make an exchange to purchase the new Homelander nappy line.

The post highlights the plight of Homelander (Antony Starr) and Starlight after the third season of The Boys. Towards the start of the season, the two were made to look like a very happy couple in the public eye by Vought, even though the real truth behind their relationship was that Starlight wanted Homelander dead for his evil deeds. Later, Starlight will not only publicly denounce Homelander for being a horrible psychopath to his millions of followers, but will also capture him in a live video admitting to his murder and threatening her boyfriend, Hughie Campbell.

What is the position of Homelander and Starlight towards The Boys?

At the end of the third season, Starlight stopped working for Vought as a member of super-team Seven and the company broke off relations with the super, claiming that she is lying about Homelander and Vought’s actions. Now Starlight’s secret identity – Annie January – is public and she has joined the Boys, which never happens in the original comic series created by writer Garth Ennis and artist Darick Robertson. It remains to be seen how the show will proceed with this change in season four, but fans of the series will have a spinoff to watch before next season’s release.

Production is currently underway on a college-themed spinoff of The Boys, titled Gen V. The show will resume following the events of The Boys’ third season and it has been anticipated that there will be an overlap between the two series. The spinoff will explore the young generation of superheroes training at Godolkin Univeristy, named after the leader of the G-Men from The Boys comics, an obvious retelling of Marvel’s X-Men.

The first three seasons of The Boys are available for streaming on Prime Video. Gen V doesn’t have an official release date yet.
