The video that shows a naked boy escaping from Buckingham Palace is false: this is the explanation

A video does not show a child escaping naked through a window of Buckingham Palace, where “satanic rituals” would be performed, the viral images correspond to a promotional campaign for the American series “The Royals” in 2015.

Users on Twitter, Facebook and TikTok released a recording in which a naked person descends from the window of a stately building using a white sheet and in which two tourists also appear, watching the scene in dismay from afar.

The publications claim that it is a minor between “13 and 15 years old” who escapes from Buckingham Palace, where “satanic rituals” and pederasty would take place.

Days after the death of Queen Elizabeth II on the 8th in Balmoral (Scotland), the viral messages coincide with the theories of the American conspiracy group QAnon, which maintains that elites kidnap children to eat them and drink their blood.

A reverse search of the image shows that the video was already shared in digital media in 2015, but some only reported its virality, without specifying whether it was true or false.

“Now that Queen Elizabeth II has died I remind you that the psychopathic elite performs satanic pedophile rituals. Obviously there is not much evidence of it. But that there is not much, does not mean that there is none,” says a tweet with 1,481 “me likes” and 788 “retweets”.

On the other hand, the Daily Mail reported then that the Metropolitan Police or the London ambulance service had not received any complaints for such a situation or for a man with serious injuries after falling from Buckingham Palace.

A few days after its leak, the medium “E’News” revealed that the images -which then obtained 1 million views on YouTube- were actually part of the promotional campaign for the series “The Royals”, produced by “E’ Entertainment Television”, which is about the day-to-day life of a fictional British royal family.

The promotional campaign also included the creation of the false tabloid “D-Throned” that covered news from the British television crown and was even nominated for the Shorty communication awards.

THE DEATH OF THE QUEEN AND QANON THEORIES

The fake posts bear the mark of the QAnon conspiracy collective in that they focus on some of their favorite topics, such as child trafficking, pedophilia, or the “satanic intentions” of a hated elite.

EFE Verifica has denied other QAnon misinformation in the past, such as publications claiming that the Titanic did not sink or that the covid-19 pandemic was planned.

In short, a video does not show a child escaping naked through a window of Buckingham Palace, the viral images correspond to a promotional campaign for the American series “The Royals” in 2015.
